This report describes the results of large-scale fire tests on various forms of ribbed concrete floors (including slabs and support structures), and proposes a rationale for their design to achieve certain periods of fire resistance. It is divided into two parts, Part 1 is on the fire resistance of waffle and trough slabs using standard formwork moulds, while Part 2 is on the fire resistance of composite floors with steel profiled sheets.
