Grouting for reservoir dams - a guide to good practice

In the UK, good practice guidance focusing on all aspects of grouting at dams is limited, and a need for a UK-focused reference for grouting in dams and their adjoining structures was identified. This publication has been developed to address this need. It provides comprehensive, good practice guidance covering grouting in UK dams including investigation, design, grouting materials and processes, drilling and grouting plant, quality control and verification, and supporting case studies to illustrate issues identified. Environmental matters and contract considerations applicable to grouting at dams are also discussed.
