Geotechnical or ground engineering is an area that is both fundamental to many construction processes and constantly evolving through the incorporation of new technology and ideas. These papers have been developed by the members following presentations given at the panel's mini-conference held on 2 March 2015. They aim to highlight emerging issues within the sector and elaborate on the work areas of the contributors.
