Sediment movement in combined sewerage and storm-water drainage systems

CIRIA undertook a study to provide an improved understanding of the processes of sediment movement in sewerage and drainage systems, to give methods of alleviating the challenges that these movements cause, to improve operation and maintenance practices and to improve assessment of the hydraulic capacity of systems containing sediment. The findings of the study are set out in this guide.
